The last I saw any demographics on this (the first lockdown) it was the more affluent postcodes where the raids were occurring – reminds me of Kath and Kim: “I want to be effluent, Mum”...

It was beginning to feel a lot like Christmas, no work, the shops were shut, no traffic on the roads and everyone was stuck in the house with the family....

Due to their physiology amphibians are more susceptible to certain bacteria and fungi in ways that we are not - but the last thing we would want to do is unleash a disease that wipes all amphibians out.

We know now that releasing cane toads was an unintentional disaster, trying to get rid of them shouldn't cause another. Remember: The perversity of the universe tends towards maximum.

They are fine, they got rid of the beetle which was their job!

The bonus is QLD has something more to put on their coat of arms/flag/shishkabob sticks!
