Hawkfan, I hear you on the espresso volume versus a larger volume coffee - I would still take an americano, espresso with water to taste, i usually use 4-6 ounces, over a drip coffee any time, even with a top notch drip machine. FYI, they call it an americano because when americans were in italy circa ww2, they couldnt handle the espresso so the locals added water and called it an americano.

I think I'm going to go for it soon. The price is in my wheelhouse. Interesting history lesson. Thanks!

Used to visit a great Bulgarian restaurant in Cape Town and they served Turkish coffee. Lovely stuff. I've never seen Turkish coffee here in NZ.

New contest. Need some posts. 6 is one more then 5 . Anybody like the Dunkin stuff? Is it worth trying? I'm suspicious of it. I'm doing the Lavazza Classico right now. Not as rich as the Sinfonico.

DD is my preferred choice of coffee chains, but I haven't been in a while. Hmmm, maybe today.

I have tried only their espresso (fairly alright) and a "normal" coffee w/milk (I almost had to ask for insulin afterwards, couldn't even finish it). Both from two different places in Manhattan. Incidentally, if you're ever around there, there's a small place on Upper East Side (Java Girl it's called) that had a very, very good espresso blend - can't for the life of me remember the price though, but I'm fairly certain it's about "Starbucks expensive" . Cappuccino worked brilliantly as well.

Yeah I'm not fond of their coffee really... Tastes like it's made with a bucket of sugar. I much prefer Dunkin for it's frozen drinks, donuts, and sandwiches. Instead I prefer an independent coffee house that's a bit further down the road that makes their own coffee and it's actually very good. They also make their own pastries. They've been added to our town's 100 Best businesses.

Yeah I'm not fond of their coffee really... Tastes like it's made with a bucket of sugar.

That's also what my wife says, and she won't drink coffee unless it tastes like a marshmallow. I take my normal coffee black, so they don't put sugar in that.

Ok... I normally get 7-11 coffee with less than 1/4 of the cup creamer and the rest 3/4 coffee. Dunkin coffee tends to make me sick. Starbucks coffee I can drink but they're too expensive for me. Never actually heard of anyone wanting their coffee to taste like a marshmallow. I need to have coffee in my coffee.
