I've been using my Clever Dripper quite a fair bit lately - makes for a lovely filter coffee with extra punch.

Coffee-beans-wise, I've been stocking up from a local roaster in my parents' hometown (their Brazil beans are really good IMO) whenever I drop by to visit, and I keep buying from Syra Coffee in Barcelona when I run out of those. Life's good.

Great photo!

You make it look like it should be brewed with battery acid and with a teaspoon of ghost pepper powder.

I'd argue for good old piranha solution - that would *definitely* extract all those flavourful organic compounds.

A hard machine to drive, but if you can master it, they make great coffee. Nice!

if that's how you like your coffee, sure...

I prefer a nice Pyrex percolator, working away on my stovetop...

You'd not find me dead near a percolator. Different strokes for different folks.

I'm sure you'll not be disappointed. A friend of mine has one and she make excellent coffee with it. I've tried to pull shots with it, but it's a hit and miss affair for me.
When I get a chance I'll photograph my new bottomless filter basket in action. It makes for a beautiful crema.

My coffee addiction ended 30+ years ago. Cold turkey from 24/day.

These days I have to make my tea with the water from the HWJ before the wife pours from it to the plunger (and her moments ago ground beans) otherwise the backwash aromatics from the plunger pollute the remaining hot water and overwhelm anything made with it.
You coffee fiends may do the wtf but hey it is so overwhelming I'm thinking of getting a second HWJ just for other beverages.
Even when I grind beans for her morning brew I can smell the (horrid) aroma on my hands past lunchtime..and I am careful not to touch the raw product at all.
Thinking maybe kitchen gloves.

Anyone with an original Spong glass receiver spare and wanting to sell please PM me.. ( 10cc...The Things we do for ...)

What's an HWJ?
And what is it that turned you so against coffee? I'm confused.

HWJ - hot water jug is my guess.
If I interpret correctly, @bobD was drinking 24 coffees a day! Probably the shaking and lack of sleep made him go cold turkey
