I normaly buy my coffee from Hoppenwort & Ploch, not because i like it the most but because i buy lical and fresh (if its roaste more than 2 weeks ago, i dont buy).

I always drink espresso, with 14g in and 30 out. Grinder is a LaPavoni zip (with a few custom mods) and the machine is a LaPavoni Europiccola (also with a couple of mods).

Some of the best coffee i drank at home was from one of the following roasteries: Caphé, black. and karma kaffee. My prefered origin is burundy, and i like african coffees more than other.

I too like it simple. Have a French Press for an afternoon cup but mornings are Costco French roast from a Cusinart Classic brewer.

I work the overnight shift. Coffee is a very important part of my routine.
Wanna see my Thermos collection? I drink 4-6 cups of coffee daily.

I want my coffee now, so have always owned Bunn Pour-O-Matic brewers.

Unfortunately they have now shifted much of their production overseas.
One I bought a few years ago was unrepairable - exchange only!

My current USA-made commercial/home model may be my last Bunn.

Among supermarket brands Melitta coffee is very high-quality.
My ulcer limits me to reduced acid blends for daily consumption.
Folgers Simply Smooth is my Amazon Subscribe 'n' Save choice.

My daughter has some of that high caffeine skull-and-crossbones stuff.

Aldi Colombian beans home ground then pressed in a portable espresso machine.

(For those who don’t know Aldi is a low cost food store)

Just want to add in this. My favorite podcast, stuff you should know. And they talk about coffee.

2 weeks is the key, you don't want to leave it longer than 2 weeks to enjoy its aroma at its peak regardless of coffee brand.

Folgers medium.
The closest thing I have found in the US to Finnish coffee roasts, they drink a lot off coffee
Some stats.

We love our Brera Gaggia machine. It's amazing. Our favorite beans/roasts come from Columbia River Coffee Roaster in Astoria, OR and Evans Brothers in Sandpoint, ID.

The beans I've been using the most recently are two Australian-grown coffees produced in the area near me in northern NSW: Mackellar Range Coffee and Three Valleys Coffee.

I use a basic Sunbeam conical burr grinder and small Sunbeam home espresso machine. (My old 2 group Faema volumetric espresso machine is too big for the kitchen bench, and generates too much heat too).

Medium roast, Sumatra Mandheling from my local Winco. I grind per need with a Handground-brand grinder. It is perfect for small batches and lives in the cupboard, not on the counter. Brew is either French press or pour-over with me seldom drinking more than 16 oz per day. In the summer, I do cold-brew to serve over ice...very smooth and very tasty.

I guess they don't make 'em like they used to...

I've tried several name brands and with daily use they all wear out.

A single incident involving the cement work floor on my job may be enough
to break the vacuum in even the best stainless steel "unbreakable" thermos.
Ask me how I know...

Once the vacuum is broken it either leaks or becomes a plain uninsulated water bottle.
The most durable models I have owned are Thermos and Gott (made by Zojirushi)
stainless steel lined models with *plastic* outer cases.

I've had a Stanley insulated bottle for the last 15 years - it's been dropped on pavement, concrete, etc..... and still holds a vacuum...

one of the spot-welds for the handle came loose and I rigged a zip-tie to keep it attached so the loop of the handle doesn't escape...

I have had to replace the plastic vacuum-seal top because I've dropped it on the top, but didn't damage the bottle itself...

it's in daily usage and I can't imagine not going to work with it full of coffee...
