I love good coffee!
Only beans and only fresh ground:
Electric a Baratza which works very well, if I have time or for Expresso the Kino M47 manual grinder.
90% I drink it black so filtered with Hario filtersystem.
I don't like the French press coffee and find there is a much simpler method:
350ml cup prewarmed
21g fresh ground course coffee
drip a tiny amount of water (correct temperature, after boiling I let it cool down 2 minutes) onto the ground coffee so that some acids can evaporate, wait 30sec.
the rest of the water, wait another 3 1/2 min.
Pour through a siff
Ready!
This method I use since 30 years or so and not any french press could convince me better.
Sometimes I like fresh cream in coffee (and alway in Black Tea!)
Some coffee's shine with cream.
Latte or foamed milk only very rarely.
Best Expresso in Europe:
Trinci
Produces other amazing coffees!
My absolute favourite which I allow myself once a year: Blue Mountain
I love good black tea as well:
Darjeeling Muscatel 2-nd flush to me one of the best.
