My last two lense purchases we both huge disappointments. One was a black/silver soligor lens that lokked really cool. Was advertised as pentax on ebay by the seller, I get it at home and it's the old Canon FD mount. Next lens after that, a MASSIVE Formula 5 that is about a foot long, again advertised as pentax mount, turns out to be a minolta mount....

almost embarrassed to say I bought an interesting looking Olympia motor drive for a few dollars (but shipping more) didn´t work, looked inside and it was virtually empty except for some lead weights which are there to make it seem like a real camera. I google searched first but couldnt find any information.

Two lenses from RockyCamera advertised as ¨optically perfect" have fungus.

I bought a Sears 70-210mm zoom for the constant F4 minimum aperture and the A setting. It was sold as is and untested, so I knew it was a gamble. Still, it was disappointing to discover there is no way to stop it down. It's a fixed F4 lens, great. A setting - not so useful. If anyone wants it, they can have it for shipping costs.

Does it even stop-down outside of A mode?
