Our '01 Beemer is well beyond its sell by date. A five year old Lexus GS would make a nice replacement for it.

This may seem boring but... To do what I want at work! I'm always restricted by higher ups rules and the urgent needs of the business when more critical but silent needs are going unattended and I want to work on those instead of the urgent/typical needs.

For materialistic things... 77mm filters, more lenses, hoof boots and a horse trailer, oh and 5 acres with a nice home for a reasonable price.

I assume you know that you can easily change the brushes, but thought I'd throw it out just in case.

yes - these are the gears that are eating themselves; too many plastic bits in the motor/transmission that shred themselves...

I would like to have more free time, the energy and motivation to use it more actively, and the wisdom to manage it prudently.

Two Nubert nuPyramide 717 plus matching amplifier, like the Nubert nuPower A and preamp nuControl 2. Money not much of an object really applies here, as this would cost 17.000 Euro. But it sounds spectacular (and is extremely ugly). If money is even less of an object, then two Backes & Müller BM Line 35 for roughly 70.000 Euro (before adding some nicer finishing). Amazing sound at ANY volume and with any music, rather than most audiophile grade speakers which tend to discriminate against badly produced music.

Also a Stowa Antea KS, or (almost) any NOMOS... but those are luxury items that I don't _need_ and can't justify spending on right now.

Oh. And a raise would be nice.

A long time ago there was a Garfield cartoon where Jon asks Garfield what he wants for Christmas, the response was "world peace and six million in a swiss bank account" !

As we don't really do Christmas then I'll just pass for now and someone else can have my portion

what would you like to get for Christmas that is not photography related?
I could have said many things here, but Lady Kerrowdown would have had plenty to say...

I have enough stuff, time to have some more experiences. OK, this can be photography related, but then again not totally, a trip to Iceland or the Outer Hebrides, yes for photography, but also to see what the culture and people are like.
