What do you want.

Ok, depending on where you are on this world, today is either Christmas or the day before.

If money was not much of an object, what would you like to get for Christmas that is not photography related?

I'll start, and to be honest, I could make a very large list of things I want, but I'll keep it small this time.

At the moment, I happen to work at a large home improvement store and as I walk around the store stocking shelves, I can see all the things the company sells. The store where I work has a stack on tool chest and top box that I really like so that would be on my list along with a compound miter saw.

So, how about you? What would you ask for or get if you could?

Socks

Seriously. I have too much stuff. I read a lot too, but its mostly done on tablet and our book shelves are overflowing. I have too much GAS for everything that interests me so I decided to start reducing some items. 4 fly rods and reels are being gifted away this season to my daughters friends who are interested to start fly fishing for bass.

I enjoy baking. I have a serious jones for one of those KitchenAid stand mixers. I burnt out the cheapie I was using making bread the other day.

skip the Kitchenaid, try a Bosch or Ankarsrum...

the missus has killed two Kitchen aids and her third is dying a slow death.... she's a baker and bread dough can be deadly...

Nothing much honestly, though I like what luftluss and wstruth have to say - I could always do with more socks!

@photolady95; I hope that whatever ails you is recovering well

Also, my family and my wife's family is all down in Brazil. It's been a few years since we have been able to go see them, so I'd like to get some tickets...

Also, a better car. I drive an old beater which I'm not complaining about, it gets me from A to B and considering my work is over 28 miles from my home it does very well, especially on mileage

Of course I don't want to sound like I'm ungrateful, I have a wonderful family, everyone's healthy and we have everything we really need. Tonight we are continuing a tradition that we do which is to invite friends who live here in the Atlanta area who also don't have any family nearby. We prepare a great dinner and have a great time together. The turkey is already in the oven (turkey is a traditional part of Christmas in my native Brazil ). There will be many other treats as well.

Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas everyone. Even as you think about what you would want, don't forget to be grateful for what you have
