This is fantastic, Pete

Very clever video editing, sequencing, time stretching and syncing. I'll bet whoever produced that spent many, many hours on it.

It's amazing how relevant a lot of the dance moves seem today with modern music...

Thanks for posting

I immediately thought of this

QuoteQuote:
Ginger Rogers did everything Fred Astaire did, except backwards and in high heels.

The line originated in a 1982 Frank and Ernest cartoon (image) by Bob Thaves as "Sure he was great, but don't forget that Ginger Rogers did everything he did, ...backwards and in high heels." On the internet and in many publications the line is incorrectly attributed to Faith Whittlesey (see "List of Websites That Have Attributed Thaves' Line to Whittlesey". Google. Retrieved on 2009-07-25.) or Rogers herself. Ann Richards popularized the line by using it in a speech but she credits Linda Ellerbee with giving her the line, and Ellerbee credits an anonymous passenger on an airplane with giving her the line (see Keyes, Ralph (2006). "The Quote Verifier: Who Said What, Where, and When". St. Martin's Griffin. p. 77. ISBN 0312340044.). The official Ginger Rogers website attributes the line to Thaves.

Wonderful example of dance...a terpsichorean * delight !

In these days of computer generated action scenes it is great to see dancers from the past showcase their tremendous talent....

I've never been much of a dancer, but I certainly appreciate those that can dance.

Thank you for posting this needed break.

* A word I first heard while watching The Avengers...starring Patrick MacNee and Diana Rigg. It has stuck in my mind since then (1960's) and it has not been easy to insert into a discussion.

That's cool for sure, I like the 'old school' dancing, especially in the musicals from that era.

I've been often told, and thought, that I was born nearly a hundred years late. And if I had been born back then, that would put me around your age now, right?
