Personal plates are ten a penny, but a few are memorable like the Jaguar F-Type some years ago with M33 AOW. I liked that one.

Interesting case that personalized plate, Wheatfield. It's the guy's actual, genuine last name, he was banned due to what the plate may have implied to some viewers.

Think he took his case...to be allow to have his name on a personalized plate...to court.

Don't know the results of the wisdom of the court...insofar as how this case was decided.

Judging by the expression on his face, I'm not sure if the court ruled in his favour.

There was also a situation in your home province about a guy that had a name that he couldn't use on a Saskatchewan plate. Darn it, I can't recall the name.

Mr Grabher lost, and is appealing the revoking of his plate. He’s apparently had it about 30 years.

A wise man, given the situation in the world.

I have a Mini Moke in the garage with the plates MOKEMYDAY.
With less than 50,000 made world wide, its become a bit of a collectors item.

Great personalized plate.

If Clint Eastwood drove a Mini Moke as a squad car in the Dirty Harry movies...that would be his police car's personalized plate.

I see there is another guy in Alberta who is the son of Mr. Grabher, and fears the province will take it away too.

That was Dave Assman. They rejected his plate so he did up the back of his truck to look like a personalized plate with his name on it.

I won a personalised plate competition once with the idea for a plate TI 3VOM.

My wife's car's plates is the Kiwi term for a South African. In South Africa I had 57FORD plates for the '57 Ford.

I have a friend here who is an anesthetist. His plates read ZZZ DR.

These were not personalised plates but were the plates on a car I owned in the USA.

We were driving alone quite happily when my wife started giggling. When I asked what the reason was, she got her phone out and taking a photo of something ahead of us just said "I'll tell you later".

Getting home she showed me a picture of a sporty black car with the number plate 'GSPOT". The photograph was shared with a number of people and the comments where around the fact the men always wondered where it was and the women told then it really did exist.
