Deploying the BioNTech vaccine is going to be a logistic headache with the -80ºC cold chain requirement, but it finally looks like there's light at the end of the tunnel. Here's hoping that both the Oxford/AstraZeneca and Moderna approaches work well, safely, and can be distributed soon...

That really is fantastic news. Malaria is a major killer in Africa. (It killed a friend of mine, so it's a little personal too.)

My youngest just graduated from high school this past week and has been accepted into an engineering program at university.

Plus he just got approval from his head instructor to go for his black belt in Judo this September. He was supposed to do it 1 1/2 years ago, but there was this pandemic thing that messed everything up.
