Elephants never forget ........

......... their way.
A friend told me about this place in Zambia.
The lodge was unwittingly built on the ancient migration route. So every year the elephants migrate, right through reception.

Now that's unique. I like how the room keys are lined up on the reception desk; do they pick the same room each year, too?

Looks like they're trying to check-in, should be easy to tell if they want to stay as their trunks will be packed (apologies for the lame joke but it had to be said!).

for the life of me, I don't understand what is so unique about this.

In Canada, and Gary, you should really know this, we have built a town that has the same problem, except with polar bears.

Welcome to the great white norht EH!

It made me think more of 'Hatari' the John Wayne movie.

So I'm showing my age as well.

1962, it's younger than the other movie mentioned. Spotmatic was 1964 so you're right.
