A light-hearted look at the Festive Season, to help alleviate the current universal Doom and Gloom.

Enjoy, and may you all have the best Christmas of 2020.

I hate Christmas - the "modern" version of it.
Same music on repeat since November in all public places, firecrackers everywhere, Home Alone on a certain television channel. And people in a frenzy to buy stuff.
If I had a basement I'd hide there, with some bottles a wine and a few good books, and wait until January.

Thank goodness for Pandora, though I think they drank too much spiked egg nog this year. Their suggestions so far have been nothing like my seeds.

Must be a regional thing, because I've never seen that around the U.S. for Christmas.

Yeah, but unfortunately it's a "here" regional thing... illegally sold firecrackers used illegally and irresponsibly.
I'm more angry about it than - say - 2 years ago as my dog gets scared by these.

The Home Alone thing is also regional (I doubt any other television in the world would repeat it every bleeping Christmas) and subject to many jokes.

That's nothing new. TNT (is that even a station anymore?) use to repeat A Christmas Story ad nauseam every Christmas season.
