Originally posted by reh321 Our county even had their fair this year.
This past week, we had about 10 cases per 100,000 residents and a ‘positivity rate’ of about 1.3%
My wife and I have been fully vaccinated since March, and I do feel fairly safe.
The state releases weekly stats every Wednesday.
The stats released this Wednesday don't look as good as those released last week: cases per 100,000 more than doubled to 22, and 'positivity' is up to 1.4.
Last Friday - the time covered by those stats - we went to the "Horse and Pony" show at the Fair.
I did photograph some of the contests - and learned where I'll try to sit next year.
I also learned I'm too old to carry my KP the whole way from home to the fair and back home; next time I'll take just the Q-7 kit - the "Horse&Pony" has mostly fixed points of interest, so I may even get by with adopted lenses that I have to manually focus.
