Anyone following the Perseverance (Rover) Mars landing -- less than 40 minutes to go

Seems like this rover will soon be arrived at destination.

I am "watching" live feeds (virtual, of course) ... my camera just can't handle the distance!

Well ... Seems like the "40 minutes" to go was wrong ... ???
Not much at all happening right now.
Simulations only.
I will watch the News instead .... more to find out then.

Yeah!
Just watched the News with the JPL team very happy that the landing was a success.
A couple of "proofing" images sent from Reddy as well.

Amazing feat of engineering once again.

What's funny is that while the News person was having a video chat with an astrophysicist via Zoom .... the communication went dead !!!
Imagine that: we receive great signals from far Mars but we can't seem to have a reliable signal right here on Earth!

That was an impressive display of technology.

But I'm waitin' to see people on the moon again . . . having been there long enough to have to use a lunar outhouse . . . after a festive burritos an' beans celebration. Now that'll be truly superior, all-things-considered, zero-defect engineering at its very best !

Krispy Kreme one day only and they way underestimated demand. They may make more. Like a chocolate Rene on inside and red with dirt debris on outside.

But .... aren't you worried about some alien visitor as seen here: If I recall,"they" hit the moon first!!

But not needed.

Something more cryptic:

Toto, Glinda, Tik-Tok. What was Gay's full name?

Back on Topic, I tried to watch the landing but when the timer hit zero nothing happened? Somebody said something about 'an hour and a half' so I gave up.
