Rio has hurt his paw

My eldest dog Rio, a frequent model on this forum has hurt his paw. Nothing serious thank the Lord.

But it has left a gap in the house for a couple of days. Rio's little brother Ripley has volunteered to be Head of Security until Rio is better.

These pictures show my dilemma.....what I need, versus what I have.......

Thank you so much for asking. That means a lot to me , I really appreciate it.

He is a little better. Still lifting his paw occasionally but seemed able to run around the garden tonight barking !

I am very sure it is just a sprain. So no walks for a couple of more days.

I told him you were asking after him and he said to say thank you

Isn't it dreadfully stressful when our animal companions aren't well?

I hope Rio's fit and well soon, and able to start taking his owner for walks again

Thank you Mike. Yes we always fear the worst because they cannot tell us exactly what is wrong. I am sure another few days of rest and he will be back in charge.

Good to hear he's getting better.
We have sprains from time to time because of the rough terrain we walk our dogs on.
They usually don't last long.

That is good news. Thank you for letting us know - and I hope Ripley is not upset by his demotion.
