Disinfect your home when someone is sick for COVID? 😮

I just saw this on a talk show, so I google and found the video clip on Twitter.

Initially, it was funny to see but after see it a few more time, I don't really know what to think now.
What exactly are they trying to get from using a flamethrower like that!
They even use it indoor. Amazingly, it didn't trigger the sprinkler / fire alarm.

Honestly, I wouldn't consider anything seen on Twitter to be worth pondering and debating. Same for the other social media platforms. There's just too much click-bait, too much presenting things out of context, too much fakery. Even if this clip is of real activity, the who, what, where, when and why aren't known...

Supposedly, the covid virus dies pretty quickly out of the body. All this crazy cleaning seems silly. This in particular appears to be a staged setup or maybe some kind of sales demonstration for a flamethrower.

A flamethrower in the house. What could go wrong?

We've been using Dettol surface cleanser in our home, but it now seems like a rather ersatz solution...

I'm not sure a flamethrower would be ideal for cleansing hands, though I could be wrong...

My grandfather once set fire to his motorcycle combination whilst weeding his garden.

Then again, he too was using a flamethrower.

Causally linked, or was it more of a performance piece?

Reminds me a bit of Ghostbusters. Glad none of them were slimed...

Definitely accidental - he turned round when my grandmother called to him.

I could be wrong, but did this take place in Asia, if the video is for real. I could not make out the printing on the signs of the building. In parts of the world this would not surprise me. The fogging machine was used by China for planes landing in the country, and it was done with the passengers still in their seats. The brief flamethrower and fogging will likely do nothing except for making an interesting video.

Watch this video from Feb/2020!
