That is a great deal. I would have loved that monitor, but even at $517, it is still a little expensive for me. I picked up the Samsung 2443 BWX instead for about $325 and am pretty happy with it (Currently at Costco for $260).

Cant go wrong with the ultra sharp form dell great for photograhy needs as least its cheaper that the Iconic Mac monitiors

I bought one a couple of months ago too. Been watching the prices come down for a couple of years! Finally I could afford one. It's great for photo stuff, but also just general computer stuff. And the card slots in the side are SDHC compatible too.
