Just to clarify... the first post was original satire and had nothing to do with support for or opposition to Bush or Obama. It was meant as a commentary on the security apparatus that surrounds all presidents and which failed in this instance. My thought, after seeing the tape was, "what next" and the scenario popped into my head.

BTW... The "Asssosiated Press International" is a fictitious organization...

For fun and in the spirit of things, my wife throws a shoe at me the other night and hits me in the head. Then she tells me I'll never be president...no reflexes. Just then our cockateil (which we allow to come out in the evening) flew off the table and started attacking her foot! My wife ran from the room trying to fend her off.

I'm thinking the secret service just needs a flock of angry birds. There will not be a soul in the room that will want to remove their shoes.

The FBSR (Federal Bureau of Shoe Registration) announced today that all shoes, both foreign and domestic will be required to have permanent serial numbers linked to a data base that will list type of shoe, size, date of purchase and the social security number of the purchaser. Persons wishing to buy shoes will undergo an extensive background check. Additionally, there will be a 2 week 'cool down' period before any permits to purchase shoes will be issued. No concealed shoe permits will be issued without an intensive investigation by both Homeland Security and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

This bill will henceforth be known as the "Nike Bill".

well thats not entirely true, if you change to canikon you will(would) finaly figure out if the grass is greener on the other side, if it is, you're better off, if its not, well a tleast now you know.

and more knowledge is never a bad thing, unless you find out your wife is cheating, thats bad, but that means you're free to divorce her, which is good

For Damn Brit:

As opposed to Dubya who took the US from a surplus in 2000 to a trillion (give or take) deficit as of today? And you think he was better?
