Oh yeah...my parents always said that "each roll is $7 for any bad or boring pics" etc etc

I took and cleaned my dad's old Fuji that hasn't been touched in 10 years, and brought it to my grandma's for Christmas. He saw me using it and took like 5 pics in a row! I was thinking...leave some of that roll for me, eh?

My first serious camera was a Practica back in the 1950s. Remember the Argus C3? I still have a gorgeous Rolleiflex TLR with the Zeiss Planar 2.8 from those days.

I suppose I got an early start for my age: I suppose I'm of a late Seventies vintage, in terms of what I learned on.

I'm just plain "Old Rupert".....got into photography very late in life. I look old, feel old and am old. My advice to you young whippersnappers is to enjoy it while you can....it goes by really fast! No regrets here...I have lived life to the fullest! Well, at least as far as Iwanted to take it!

I usually hate these age threads becauce I'm getting old, but Friday I will celebrate my 54th birthday.

And, as long as I'm still taking up space on this planet, I can't complain.

I'm the opposite: it looks like I'm older than 90% of this sample

but I got a very late start so, in photographic terms, I'm a toddler.
