I see hospital visits in my (kid's) future...

What a showoff... he turns one year old in a week and he already thinks he's a stunt man. He got this push-scooter-rocket dealie for christmas and while his feet won't quite reach the floor when he sits on it - so he can't push himself around on it yet, he has learned to stand up on it and wave his arms triumphantly... it's hilarious!

Can't wait to teach him to ski!

Good balance skills there! No wonder he is grinning.

He will be reading the intro chapters to "Chickenhawk" next

Maybe you should ask "Cirque du Soleil" if they need some young performers!

Now try to start the engines, to enhance the learning curve...

(trying to say something funny here)

Very nice shot. The best shots are those taken at the best moments. You'll be glad you have this one to put next to that hospital bed once... recovering from a broken arm or something.

(another attempt to being funny)

Enjoy his joy!

It's funny how we can blabber on about some shot of a bird or something and then a shot like this comes along which is just fantastic and tells a great story. It'll be printed and kept nearby for a lifetime.

Wonderful moment. Now go call your insurance agent and boost the coverage.

Both of my boys were daredevils like that. Soon to be 18 and 15, neither one of have ever broken a bone... **knocks on wood** .... although I am waiting for that day. The older one is constantly doing tricks on his skateboard and one of these I'm sure I'll hear him say, "Umm... Mom... can you drive me to the ER?"

I have taken pics of him in the air while doing a trick, but will wait to take more after I get my K200 in a few weeks. Wouldn't want to post any Fuji pics on this wonderful site, lol.
