Good for them!
Friends don't let friends shop at crooked camera shops.

About dang time.

These thieves should be behind bars.

Unfortunately, because of locale, BHPhotovideo and Adorama sometimes get lumped in, even though that is NOWHERE near how they behave - B&H and Ado are legit. Gotta stink being them, and being in the area.

Guilt by association (proximity) is totally incorrect in this case....

Leads to quite a few interesting links, including one guy who was threatened, and told to leave the country!

We'll send up some Rangers to whup them yankees.

Seriously, after living here for 13 years, I hardly consider Texas (which I truly enjoy overall) as a consumer-friendly state. I guess someone's awake once-in-a-while in Austin.

This particular scam is not especially new. After decades of nonsense like this, and perhaps millions of complaints during that, one certainly has to wonder why the boroughs of New York City (Brooklyn, etc), instead of Texas many miles away, haven't taken stronger steps to eliminate this problem.

It's a shame the credit card companies don't block people like this.
They could have a Hotline to report them but they don't care, they get their money either way.
