Had a quick look at this crap, and it simply reaffirms why I don't watch this crap, don't have cable, and hardly even watch Farmer Channel.
Having said that, it's pretty clear that all involved in this project have never photographed a crime scene nor viewed forensic photographs - although if they had I'm sure they'd all rapidly agree that they would have preferred to forgoe the experience. I've never photographed one, but I've certainly been at a few and seen the files.
I don't see any post mortem lividity, congealed puddles of jello/blood, hair stickily plastered to an unrecognizeable face, yellow subcutaneous fat showing along the edges of wounds, the colors of strangulation, etc. So much for reality TV - although I have no complaints that they don't know how to get it right.
I guess my closing comment is that this is pretty sick stuff as I see it, even if they have every right in a free society to try it and see if they can market it and make a buck doing so. Maybe the next series will have a "dead babies" segment and they can pose their own children as crime or accident victims. Wouldn't that be entertaining and artistic!
So many things to point a camera at in this wonderful world and they choose this...
