Super Sunday - Predictions / Results

Ok I am not a fanatical NFL fan (I like the Eagles - there were close) - but I do watch it on occasion and so I am rotuing for the underdog Cardinals - my dad spends the winter in Arizona and you gotta love that Kurt Warner has a shot at another ring !

Cardinals by 5 - haha (when no $$ is involved one can say anything!)

I'm rooting for the Cardinals, but if I were a betting man I'd pick the Steelers.

Prediction: Pittsburgh 27, Arizona 21

I'm willing to stick my neck out and predict that millions of gallons of beer will be consumed...

Sure this post is after the second half but my pick has been the Steelers winning 37-17

an excellent game all around. For the Cards too bad it ended up this way. For the Steelers wow, what a finish.

at least the last few superbowls have been awesome games. Some years they all seem so rusty and it takes the entire first half to get exciting.

And thank goodness the Steelers won. (I'm a Steelers fan, I'm not crazy into it, but at my work there's so many Patriots fans who would rub it in if they had lost - I'm glad they took care of business.)

Yeah, that safety screwed up my prediction. Good game though it was sloopy with penalties at times. I knew it would be trouble when the Cardinals left the Steelers that much time to work with.

Kind of a bummer for me - when the Cardinals were in St. Louis my father kept season tickets - until the end - had a few decent dates in those seats.

It has been fashionable here to dislike Bill Bidwill - but he was actually an OK guy.

I rooted for them, with misgivings.

That looked like quite a game. Mostly, I watched to see Springsteen, but it ended up staying on. (I was pretty arbitrarily rooting for the Steelers, cause I met some real fans once. ) Looked like either team would have deserved it, and well-played to the end.
