Did anybody see the segment a few days ago on Stephen Colbert's show, about the professional photographer that was arrested? I believe it occurred in a subway station- wickedly humorous in it's irony (not funny for the photographer!
).
To paraphrase:
"OK, let's recap:
1. Amtrak sponsors a photography contest, to take pictures of trains.
2. Professional photographer takes pictures of Amtrak trains.
3. Amtrak police arrest photographer for taking pictures of trains."
The poor guy was arrested, handcuffed for about an hour, and when he had the "audacity" to ask why he was being arrested, they charged him with ...Trespassing!!!
Hopefully after watching the show at least a -few- people will realize that not everybody with a camera is a "terrorist"!!!
