I think it's the best monitor for the price out there today. I payed over 700.00 for mine in 2005 and it's still looks as good as the day I bought it. The color beat's my other 2 monitors hands down. The panel is a 24"WS Samsung S-PVA (LTM240CS05), which is pretty good. I've just bought a Dell 2209 WA for $AUS413 and I'm very impressed. It's a 22"WS LG.Display e-IPS (LM220WE4) panel. IPS is thought to be the best, but I understand that PVA is close and has better contrast. Hmmm. It's $999 here
