Never knew "whining" was against the rules

You have been banned for the following reason:
Unending whining about the rules and failure to accept moderation.

Date the ban will be lifted: Never

Anyone want to take a guess at which forum this is?

I don't know, but this sounds suspiciously like whining.

Excessive Whining is a Double Top Secret Rule on this forum. We only invoke it when we can't think of another reason to ban you.

If you had spelled it "whinging" like others do, I might have had to complain.

Keep in mind this forum has over 50,000 members I think. This is what they could come up with.

That's a valid word in Uklandish, a quaint regional variant of English spoken on some small islands in the North Atlantic. Let us strive to be tolerant of the quirks of others, that they may in turn be tolerant of our own.

if a person complains, it is either for the right reasons, or the wrong reasons.

if after rationalizing the complaint, logic dictates that the reasons used for the complaint are dubious, then the complainer should be informed of his error.

the complainer has two options

either try to understand the evidence brought forth against him, assimilate it, conclude that he was in the wrong, grow, and move on in life

or

get angry, raise hell, bring up non relevant information, and cause general havoc

Whining and whinging - two valid words with slightly different meanings here.

Cultural sensitivity, SpecialK.

We pronounce the "g" in whinging. Soft G.
