Celebrated CP (Canadian Press) photographer Tom Hanson passed away yesterday at the tender age of 41.

A lot of the images include Canadian politicians which, I'm quite sure, no one but a Canadian will recognize. But his style, presence and image composition are outstanding in the field of photojournalism, regardless of the nationality of the subject. He was a great photographer. Kind of a 'be there and f8' kind of photographer - heavy on the 'be there' part.
My favourite has to be the gas-mask wearing bagpiper.
My sincere sympathies go out to his family for their loss.
