Baron Bay blues fest - anyone going ?

Hey , just wondering if anyone is going the the blues festival they are having up in baron bay ? I haven't scored some tickets but , is going to volunteer at the festival. 5 hours work a day that got me 2 meal a day and 5 days of blues'n'sun.....

Well im going to volunteer at the festival. I get the tickets for free , as long as i do some work.

Looking forward to it , quite a bit. I've been listing to Blues since i was 13 . So this is my element !! Not the hippies , but the Blues ! :-P

Sounds like Fun! Hope you have a good time. I been a blues fan since 68. I'm heading to Jacksonville Fl. next weekend to the Free weekend Blues Fest.

Do us a favour, if anyone there is smoking a joint and says that it should be legalised because you can make all sorts things out of it, like fabric and rope, ask 'em what they're smoking and if they can make a f*cking rope out of it.

Or, just listen to this in preparation.

Despite my wariness, hippies are generally a generous and caring lot, most having a weird take on socialism.

Simply rock up to a group of them ("drum circle" is the correct collective noun for hippies), preferably wearing a hemp-shirt and Thai fisherman's pants, and agree with everything they say, no matter how outlandish ("Humans are not designed to eat meat," etc) and, bingo, you'll have a place to camp for the night, providing you keep your aura positive and have your chakras correctly aligned.

Then, just before you go, nick all their stuff.
