We're down here by Cape Girardeau and last year after we got that 13" of rain on top of the melting snow from the north, it was really flooded around here. I took some pictures while the water was high and then a few weeks afterwards. We found a boat ramp at a Conservation area that was really nice. Up in a tree across the river, you can see branches and debris of what got caught in the tree during the flood. From the actual water line to the flood line, we're talking a good 30 - 40 feet of water. I was hoping for it to happen again so I can get pics with my K200D. Driving home this morning from work, I see that the river is high again. I guess we'll go take a ride and check the low areas and see what's flooded.
