Living in an earthquake zone myself, this obviously feels too close to home.

There are a lot of Australians of Italian descent too. I know quite a few and I've spoken to some of them and expressed my concern. I'm extending that concern to the Italian members of this forum too. Best wishes, guys.

I have been reading the last few weeks papers by a composer who lives exactly in the affected zone. Used one of his compositions and several of his papers in my research. Was hoping to maybe meet up with him sometime, to talk shop. And then this happened. So I sent a message of good wishes to him. Any disaster is horrible.
