I have been concerned that my lifestyle might be contributing to global warming. Being that I only weigh 170 lbs and still have a 32 in waist I now know that I can continue to eat my carton of Ben and Jerrys every day for dessert. I'm so relieved!

Vodka has 0 calories

Truth is the Russian government won't release the data it seems. China and India are also missing. Only 1/3 of the world's population.

The even bigger issue is there were less than 2 billion people on the planet at the end of WWII and now were creeping in on 7 billion. Now that's a huge issue no one wants to seriously address.

Population growth is everywhere though, Canada was 12 million in 1945 and 33.5 million this year. We're too small to take over anything but the trend is the same.

I've pointed that out several times. It is Thomas Malthus' 1798 essay on population growth revisited. Technology foiled his predictions several times regarding the carrying capacity of the earth.

I want to live in Italy. Life expectancy is over 80 and they get to eat all that Italian food. And the wine.
And the Italian women.
