Ok now - I did hear that at a bluegrass festival, and I really like bluegrass (of which banjo is a necessary ingredient) so please put down the flamethrower...

BTW, congrats on pursuing the banjo, that's great. Also BTW, Steve Martin blew me away when I saw him play on the Colbert Report - I had no idea he played like that. Very cool. Now to go look for my guitar...

Another bluegrass fan here. When I got married a couple of years ago, I was afraid my wife might ask me to stop going to Winfield every year. Luckily, she now enjoys it as much as I do. Redpigeons, if you like banjo, give Allison Brown a listen. She's not traditional, but she's awesome.
