Everyone knows you can't identify a sub with a photo. Do you have any underwater audio recordings you can post?

I lowered a pocket voice recorder over the side of the cruise ship using some string, but it shorted out...

Thanks for the laugh.

Come on now, what are a few little problems on a new boat such as the combat systems, noise and engine break downs.
Couldn't have been as bad as this one http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_de_Gaulle_(R_91). Problems are far worse than noted there.

Could be worse - we could've got the Yanks to design 'em and build 'em. Where the bleeding hell are our JSFs?

At least we've got the boats...that we're already thinking of replacing.

In those northern waters I get an image of them popping out the hatch and immediately being clubbed for their pelts.

That was a grey whale, now you're just trying to confuse people.
This is the kind of witty repartée I live for. We really, really need to start that Pentax Forum Quote Thread.

Ah...shoulda seen that. Chase'd never forgive me. One of General Dynamic's EB yard was in Connecticut, right?

And I know you southerners were the first to sink a ship with a sub.

Still, if you know anyone working at Locheed Martin, scream at 'em for me. Isn't Congress thinking of canning the JSF program, anyway? Great.

What a good idea, go ahead, maybe I'll make it a sticky if it's a success.

It is doubtful we will even replace our Trident fleet at this point. The current administration doesn't see a need for underwater boats.

They don't see a need for any military anyway. Maybe we should have China defend us
They're too busy kowtowing to the world.
