Apology

Here when I saw the thread title I though graphicgrrl was going to apologize for starting "I wish Obama acted like a Republican!" threads all the time, but alas, it's just another one of those...

Let's see, the end result of Obama's intended efforts (if successful) would be:

1) Israel fully recognized and accepted by Palistine and the Arab/Muslim world
2) An independent Palistinian state recognized by Israel and the rest of the world
3) No more non-approved Jewish settlements - in other words, Israel keeping to what they already agreed to
4) No more Palistinian attacks on Jews, period
5) Reduced fury in the Muslim world towards Israel and the West because of the peace and respect generated by #1 - #4.

I didn't see the word "apologize" anywhere in Obama's speech. I did, though, see hints that the US was still willing to end unproductive results of failed talks with the US 82nd airborne division or an aircraft carrier or two, though. No US administration has ever been vague about that, which is a good thing.

On March 22nd the Obama said terrorists wouldn't have the same rights as an American but now they must be read their Miranda Rights.
