? on Hasselblad Quick Release Clamp

Among the items I bought this morning is a Hasselblad Quick Release Clamp model 45144. There is no plate to attach to the camera however.

Can I use an Arca-type plate with the Hasselblad clamp? I have several Arca-type plates but they are all at home. I'm anxious to know.

BTW, the ballhead the Hasselblad is attached to is a Linhof. I have a Kirk BH1 that I like but the Linhof seems to be better.

The Hasselblad 500 and 2000 series has a foot on the base of the camera that slides into the QR clamp. It is not compatible with the Arca plates.

Bummer! I found that out last night. The Hassy is narrower and shallower than the Arca.
