yes because all the other media outlets that present the news are completely unbiased and give nothing but the news. You tend to watch or read the news venues that best appeal to your political views of the world.

Conservatism : a: disposition in politics to preserve what is established b: a political philosophy based on tradition and social stability, stressing established institutions, and preferring gradual development to abrupt change ; specifically : such a philosophy calling for lower taxes, limited government regulation of business and investing, a strong national defense, and individual financial responsibility for personal needs (as retirement income or health-care coverage)

Liberalism : a political philosophy based on belief in progress, the essential goodness of the human race, and the autonomy of the individual and standing for the protection of political and civil liberties

definitions taken from Merriam Webster dictionary.

I do tend to believe that people tend to identify with conservative ideas when it comes to money and the role of the goverment in our lives i.e (protection, taxes, control of our lives) but also agree with more liberal definitions of personal liberties so I think most people would be a mix of both ideas not just one or the other. OK enough rambling I am heading off the soapbox now so flame on people

EDIT: i didnt even realize how much i spoofed from George Carlin there...

Like it or not, at least they are the last major media outlet in this country that isn't in the tank for BHO.

Critics blast cooperative coverage of president's health plan

QuoteQuote:
The media ethics furor stems from ABC News' announcement that next week the network will devote hours of news coverage to the president's plan, televise a primetime "town hall" discussion on the topic called "Questions for the President: for America" and anchor its nightly "World News" program from inside the White .

. . .

McKay's letter detailed that in addition to the primetime town hall special, ABC News has also announced its "Good Morning America," "World News," "Nightline" and web news "will all feature special programming on the president's health care
agenda."

"I am concerned this event will become a glorified infomercial to promote the Democrat agenda," McKay wrote. "The Republican Party should be included in this primetime event, or the DNC should pay for your airtime."

Roger Hedgecock, chairman of the Radio America Free Speech Foundation, suggested ABC News is endangering true freedom of the press by "virtually turning over news programming that night to the Obama government."

"This 'special' will feature Obama government officials promoting the president's proposal for government health
care. No opposing views are allowed on the program," Hedgecock wrote in a statement. "For ABC News to present only the Obama government side of this important issue would betray the public interest in a free press."

. . .

Matt Drudge, covering the story on his website, writes, "On the night of June 24, the media and government become one, when ABC turns its programming over to President Obama and White House officials to push government-run health care – a move that has ignited an ethical firestorm!"

. . .

ABC's Charles Gibson and Diane Sawyer will moderate the primetime special, which is scheduled to be broadcast from the East Room and televised at 10 p.m. on June 24. Coverage will then continue later on "Nightline" and the next morning, when Sawyer will interview Obama for "Good Morning America."

Healthcare is important, why shouldn't they be reporting from the source?

There is a big difference than reporting on the source and The Source (BHO) taking over the media. The last time I looked, it wasn't a health care collapse that slammed the economy into a worse hole since the Jimmy Carter years.

Maybe BHO should be concerned about where all the Federal Reserve Cash is going. It is foggy as to whre $9 Trillion went.

This is from a committee hearing on The Hill last month.

You think they could at least send the Tax Cheat of the Treasury over there to figure out what was going on . . . oh whait . . . that's where the found him.

Edit: DC is starting to look like Capone's Chicago on steroids. Do we really want people like these at the Reserve running health care?

Want to know the real difference?
Liberal: Give me a fish to eat.
Republican: Teach me to fish so I can eat when I want to.

CNN: Paid for by the Obama Election Committee and in his pocket.

Except that McCain is not particularly conservative, so it is a surprise. For whatever reason, McCain's campaign did not appeal to the moderate voter. On top of that, the financial meltdown (which would have happened regardless of which party held the presidency) was, I think, a big factor in convincing a lot of non-ideological voters to vote against the incumbent party.
In addition to the financial meltdown, I think the single biggest torpedo that sank McCain's ship was his choice of Sarah Palin as a running mate. She and her family turned the McCain campaign into one long Jerry Springer episode.

Wrong!

Liberal: Let's share the fish.
Republican: Give me all your fish...or else!

Liberal: Let's share the fish that the Conservative caught.
Republican: I worked for this fish. What have you done to deserve it?
Liberal: I am entitled to you fish. I can't fish you must give it to me. You must continually support me.
Republican: Why bother to fish.

Jesus created the fish

Liberal: I'll just have a small portion of salmon.
Republican: No you won't, you'll have a large portion of tuna with extra mercury on the side.

Jesus created liberalism, his dad thinks he created the fish.
