Well, it was the Onion... Believe me, there are plenty of black, yellow, red, beige, and whatever other colors running around campus in Ames (that's where my son went to college) and the rest of Iowa. The quarterback for the ISU Cyclones was actually a black kid adopted by a white family and raised out in the Iowa countryside, so he woulda been the perfect choice for their pictures without any Photoshopping
But then it would have been reality, not spoof, so not nearly as funny
