There's not a dime's worth of difference between liberal politicians and conservative politicians.

If you REALLY want change in our government, vote libertarian.

And to everyone repeatedly bashing FOX news:

We heard you the first 100,000 times. You're getting repetitive.

FOX is no worse in it's reporting than CNN, MSNBC, CBS, ABC, NBC etc. etc. ad nauseum. They all are too busy pursuing an agenda to worry about objectively reporting newsworthy facts and events. What that agenda is is irrelevant--it gets in the way of integrity, it makes journalism the fourth branch of government, and we are ALL worse off because of it.

We did real well until 2006-7 when government went liberal and the Barney led the fight to deregulate. And that is when it started downhill. Under liberal majority. Now it's all stupid libs and it's just getting worse with their guessing. W kept this country from being attacked and now the Obama is realizing W was right. Yet he is still dismantling what has worked so far.

graphicgr8s, I have to say this: I read the stuff you post sometimes, and I get this strong suspicion you are a Colbert-like parody genius pulling our collective legs, pretending to be this insanely reality-detached conservative knucklehead.

Seriously, am I right? That Bermuda thing - that's comedy gold man.

Dude, even Greenspan - Ayn Rand's own protege' and ideological heir - has admitted that economic libertarianism has failed. The pickle we are in is due in large part to the Republican party embracing libertarian economical approaches, trickle-down and deregulation, since the Reagan years, and the Democrats supinely going along with it (except maybe for a few years early in the Clinton administration, and even that just partially).

" like, for the first time in US history, enemy attacks on continental US? "

This statement is in error. Us soil has been attacked by several enemies.

British>>> burned capitol building during invasion of 1812.

Japan>>> attacked several points on west coast with airplanes and submarine shell fire. Also specially made balloon bomgs, killing at least one family of six.

Germany>>> attacked east coast with submarine gunfire several times.

Danged ol' hydrogen leak issues. Better luck in July.
Eight missions planned before STS fleet retirement in late 2010 and I am getting anxious to plan to see one light up.

And the Soviet's admitted Marxism failed. So hence the radicals in control are going to give Italian Fascism a go.

Dream about/fight for any political system you want! Just make sure disagreement such as the one manifested here is possible in it.

marx was a capitalist, durr

the soviet union was a party dictatorship with little rights for personal property and a centralized command economy.

Karl Marx spent his entire life studying capitalism and its downfalls, and when asked "well, what would happen after?", he wrote a tiny little manifest, which a short little fella by the name of Lenin took to heart and started a revolution in a nation that was boiling over the top with radical terrorists fighting the monarchy.

nothing changed, except that all the rich folk were thrown in with the rest of the masses and an artificial equality was achieved for a brief moment in time...

Marxism never failed because his dreams and idealst of a socialistic world were never realized!

Cuba, is a dictatorship
China, is a dictatorship

using fancy labels such as "republic" and "the peoples" is just a way to take hold of the mindless cattle known as the working class.

large personal wealth aside, i would like to point out that intelligent people with massive potential have always had all doors open to them.

Alas, Gianfranco Fini, the leader of the Italian far right National Alliance party already conceded years ago that Fascism was a failure too.

Maybe it's time to give the Whigs another go? Or is it the Greens' turn?

I wish you were a detainee too. I'd personally volunteer to water-board you!

Dude, after decades of receiving those fat government paychecks, do you really think Greenspan has a libertarian bone left in his body? I hardly view him as an expert on free market economics.

And just because Greenspan speaks doesn't make him right.

You left out the most serious attacks on the US

We have been attacked by our own Government with far more serious consequences than a few bullets from a submarine... Or some balloons launched from Japan...

200+ above ground Nuclear bombs exploded on the Lower 48 states between 1945 and 1962

Size of Nuclear bombs dropped on Japan in WW ll were 12.5 kt and 20kt = 32 kt

Total of Nuclear bombs exploded on the US by it's own Government = 154,013 kt

These are just the above ground totals...
The fallout from US Government bombings of the Continental US continued to blanket the Northeastern US for almost 20 years.
And these are just the 'Declassified' ones we know about.

No arguing on your fallout facts.
But I was only stating history pertaining to " enemy " attacks.
Not that the government couldn't be called an enemy.
