My son just had a a beautiful and healthy baby boy. Mom and family are doing well.

A little something from my son's cell phone a few hours after birth.

Enjoy the new addition to the family. If you want to get him started early in photography, the K-7 has a "toy camera" setting.

Thanks everyone for the kind comments. He's really a gift and yes it's my first grandchild. We haven't seen him yet in person because my wife had a short stay in the hospital and there were a few swine flu cases in at the same time. She wasn't exposed to them directly but we've decided to be safe about this and wait 2 weeks before going to visit.

It's killing me not to jump in the car....
