Do you know any reliable and good websites in europe to buy k10d (except UK which is expensive). BHphoto and Adorama will not send k10d to hotel in US and therefore my friend cant take it for me.

I need camera quite quickly (within 3 weeks), do you know any reliable place to buy from.

But they can mail it to you directly. I've bought a fuji f20 (p&s) camera and a 22" lcd monitor from bhphoto. Both of them arrived within 7 working days.

But with all the customs and VAT it should be simillar price to Europe. Advantage of BHphoto or Adorama was to not declare camera with customs as he would already use it and it would not be in original packing.

Yes indeed, all the packages from bhphoto have a customs slip that states all the stuff in the package and their value. In the UK stuff tends to be about 2x more expensive than in the USA. I doubt VAT and customs duties will increase the price to match the UK price.

VAT is the one that hurts most, and the highest I know is 25%. Plus there's the possibility of the camera just making it past the customs without any duties.
