Great band, NakedGun. The film Trainspotting was where they first got my attention.

Suspect I'll be in left field for this game, but the most recent music I was hearing, while in the car yesterday, was Schubert's 9th, probably my favorite symphony, but because of its length and complexity it's rarely played live and I've never managed to hear it in concert. I think almost everyone will agree that hearing a piece in concert is a different experience from even a definitive reading on CD.

I seldom listen to music while driving, but when I do, it's classical, only.

At home, things are different.

My parents raised with a wide diversification of music, including of all things, African folk music (which I liked), but I don't care for at least 90% of classical and for some reason, very little jazz. I already touched on modern CW in another thread, so I'll leave that alone.

My folks always had CW on the car radio (1960s) and I learned to hate it as a child/adolescent, perhaps due to my rebellious attitude then, though I don't care for its current form, either. I'm with you on the jazz idea.

My father, and later my stepfather listened to CW on the radio.
IIRC it was on WHN 1050 AM. They also carried the Mets games.

My mom couldn't stand it, and I too developed a strong dislike.
My older brothers and sisters had all the good records!

Much later I realized how tongue-in-cheek and ironic some of the lyrics are,
and I began to appreciate certain CW artists.

This super sappy 80s cover I recorded a few days ago as recommended by several friends. I only did the vocals and did not play any of the instruments.
