Gerry Rafferty and comedian Billy Connolly recorded two folk pop albums together before each went on to other things.

That's a funny song, especially for anyone who has flown with RyanAir

Over the decades I've collected roughly 1500 songs that I love. This is one of those.

I can replay the harmony starting at 2:15 over and over...

Sometimes listening to this makes me sad, because it makes me feel that given the direction the world has been taking, such music will never be created again

I've always been a big fan of Genesis P Orridge, whether its the beginnings of Industrial Music in Throbbing Gristle (an amazing show that was) or the performance art project that is Psychic TV , or his solo work.... somehow I only managed to get around to the latest album today (and missed them last year here as i was out of town)

I hadn't seen The Boss on his Melbourne tours until this year ... he puts in a long show, quantity as well as quality!

Tired of the Bieber shlock? Check out 18-year old Declan McKenna. A hook meister with a social conscience. There is hope for the young ones after all. And check out his brilliant cover of Fleetwood Mac's The Chain at Glastonbury last year.
