About Bonnie Prince Charlie's attack on Carlisle in 1745 during the Jacobite uprising. Wi' a Hundred Pipers, written by Carolina Nairne c. 1852. Sung here by Kenneth McKellar, you may have trouble understanding everything as it is in Scots language.

It's not a fan favourite, but with Roger Waters alienation lyrics, meandering synthesizers, sound effects and at least four different David Gilmour solos, this pretty much sums up the Pink Floyd I love.

My Ipod has over 5,000 songs on it. I could mow every day for a year and not listen to all of them.

I would give anything to go back in time and see SRV play live. The passion he exudes when he plays is incredible and he played from deep within his soul to make beautiful music

Before the famous American band The Outlaws there was a British guitar-driven instrumental group by the same name.

Despite their many memorable tracks I can't help but wonder what sort of music this extremely talented group
would have made had their producer Joe Meek not had them adopt an American cowboy motif for the their act.
