Elvis Costello - My Aim Is True

A fantastic album which I love as much today as I did when first released in 1977!

Super Furry Animal - Fuzzy Logic. I only discovered (properly) Super Furry Animals and they have done some great (quite varied) stuff, Spotify popular songs is an easy place to start.

Just re-listened after many years to "Coltrane Plays the Blues", 1960. A fave of mine back in high school in the early '70's. Overshadowed by his other albums, it's still a fine one. The new version(s) include bonus tracks, and while good, it's pretty clear why the original tracks are the ones that made the cut for the album. Highly recommended.

Ah The Hissing of Summer Lawns, such an underrated album. Raise you in the Highbrow Stakes; have been listening to Mahler's 4th Symphony conductor Abbado.

Oh, I used to crank that after school on my folks Garard console stereo. Think I blew the speakers out. That reminded me of Pre Foghat classic:

The 'Radiator' session - is a good listen.

Foghat Fool For The City - YouTube
I wore the Fool For The City album out in high school. I kept putting the needle back on Slow Ride trying to figure the song out on guitar, also the track Terraplane Blues, I got all the rhythm down on Terraplane, but I was not a slide player, so the leads where not happening at that time.

Never heard of the Super Furry Animals but I did a quick look and see they are Welsh. Two of my all time favorite bands Man and Budgie also Welsh.

An absolutely hyper speed version of Bananas from aforementioned Welsh band Man from a '83 reformation gig.
