She is talented, but what makes her stand out in my mind is that she doesn't overplay, she just puts in the right amount. She's got some groove, as well. I don't listen to much current pop, but when I do I think of better bass lines and rhythms in general, and her videos show what could be done (should be done) when live players are added to the bare bones arrangements.
