Yeah, very hard to play! His weird poly scales are killer! hehe... there's also a brand of shoes here in Manila named Manel. One might confuse you as the owner of the "Manel Brand!"

the very first number one on the British Indie charts by my buddy Spizz (who has turned into the master of self promotion in the last few years) (Dec 79 release, by the time the charts started rough trade's distribution caught up with demand an it stayed #1 for 2 months) below it the follow up Soldier Soldier . Below that there is a Pic of Spizz at the 100 Club this past October (in full on Schmooze mode, he cracks me up sometimes)

I wish I was, but nope. However, we do manufacture excellent quality leather shoes (Italian style) around here, so it's possible that the brand is owned by some Portuguese fellow anyway. I only wear boots, or sandals, and trekking type preferably, so I don't know much about the business (LOL).

As for Youtube vids, I just hit the share button (below the Youtube clip video), copy the URL and paste it on the message. It always appears in the center.

Haha cool! I wear only boots and sandals too! In fact my boots (my only footwear when wearing jeans) have been with me for 15 years now. While I wear sandals when wearing shorts...

It was fun, ran into a number of people I hadn't seen i quite a while, the most bizarre being a friend who lives perhaps a mile from me who I didn't even know was in London, I'd walked to the bar for a pint and there she was with Glen Matlock (who I also hadn't seen in a long while) Very strange experience
I've known Walter Lure who was performing since his days with johnny thunders in the 70s-80s so I was really there to see him play since he very rarely comes to Toronto since the heartbreaker days.

Absolutely Eddie. Neil is one of the greatest artists I have the pleasure to listen to. He was in Portugal at Vilar de Mouros in 2001, and he joined people at the bar to have a few beers. Simply amazing. He looked just a ordinary guy.
