I dunno, though. She can wear the Evel Kneivel suit, but can't wear the cars. It looks like they spliced in footage of her trying to parallel park.

As pop songs in a dry spot went, that was a tune I was trying to like, though.

thanks for posting this up. being a fan of James Taylor, I learned how to appreciate real music and melody. how times have changed and now we are fed with nothing more but garbage. they call themselves as artists and entertainers now, but I think it's just a poor excuse on not knowing how to make music nor sing at all.

You're welcome. JT, Croce, Cat Stevens, et al made up pick up the guitar back in the 80s when everyone else was listening to hair metal. I've suffered from GAS ever since.

GAS = Guitar Acquisition Syndrome.

yeah. those are classics. it's funny what kids now considered as music are easily forgettable.

anyway,I gotta mention Dan Fogelberg, Simon and Garfunkel, Neil Young, Bob Dylan are just among the singers that I grew up listening on the radio and cassette collections. the funny thing is, despite the fact that I haven't listened to them for close to 2 decades is I still remember most of the lyrics if not memorized them.

my faves are operator,sound of silence, leader of the band.

YES! I had the same cassette collection.

No one does what these guys did back then. Acoustic guitar and vocals and heartfelt lyrics.

I'll also add CSNY, Seals and Crofts, America, Don McLean, Gordon Lightfoot, Bread and John Denver. The ladies included Linda Ronstadt, Carole King and Joni Mitchell.

In honor of the not quite late, hopefully-unlikely to be lamented P&R forum: Unlikely tune to spin mag wheels to, but it worked for me:

(This tune not recommeded for the irony-impaired without adult supervision. )
