The Belairs were one of the absolute best early rock and proto-surf bands.

Got some Tiesto blaring while I clean my parents' roof. Good thing they live in a semi-rural area

I am currently obsessed with Depeche Mode remixes, this one in particular. I love this song. Something about his voice, it reminds me of Jim Morrison a bit and this mix is awesome, almost better than the song on the CD...

Depeche Mode is my favorite. I'm bummed they are not coming to New England this year. Brooklyn is the closest.

Their original songs are so good, it's hard for remixes to do them any justice. This is a good one, but other remixes of their last two singles haven't been that great.

Royksopp just did a cover of DM's Ice Machine:

And if you like Dave Gahan's voice, don't miss the last Soulsavers album where he was vocalist on all tracks on the album:

Thanks, I did not know about this one. I do like Gahan. I'm sitting here listening to one of his solo CDs as I type. :P

Also, by the way, we're basically ed at this point, sorry.

But radical hope and Veritech fighters might just be a worthwhile aspiration:

Also, blessed f'n be.

(Actualy, we're essentially ed: if the GOP gets their way I'll have no choice but to skive on the rent, fix the car, somewhat, abandon all hope of bein enterpreneurial, and hope to get to free states soon. Of course, since they've done worse than nothing about the climate, there may not be much of home to go back to, but hey.)

They killed us ten years ago. We have to do something else now.
