Really ethereal sound Kevin Shields got, NakedGun. Apparently he removed a lot of the original guitar leaving all the effects channels.

I only found out recently that he (leader of this quintessential British shoe gazer band) is American.

Americans tend to turn up almost anywhere.

Too bad they did not produce more.

You'd better hold off from 'the snip', then, Tom!

Another shoegaze classic:

I'm another smooth jazz guy in the bunch.

I haven't read through all the pages in this thread, but I don't think these have been posted.

Jonathan Cain:

One of my favorites, Doug Cameron.

The last one is great for listening to when stressed or before going to sleep.

Enjoy.

I do like The Replacements, Nowhere Matt.

Here's Glen Campbell covering them:

Sounds good!
I saw the Foo Fighters last week in Portland and they were great. So much energy! I didn't bring a real camera and just enjoyed the show.

The Common Linnets - Love Goes On

On Spotify. It's nice, but I could swear it sounds better if I play the FLAC file on my NAS via the Squeezebox.

I liked 'After the Storm' or whatever it was they did at Eurovision 2014.

Simple and straightforward, no sequins, wind machines or transgender performers anywhere, very un-Eurovision, and naturally they lost. :-)
